Privacy notice: email subscriptions

Who we are: Satscryption. You can contact us at info@satscryption.io.

Downloads: you can download Satsight notes without giving us your email. We don't collect an email address for a download alone.

What we collect if you subscribe: your email address, which page you signed up on, and whether you confirmed your subscription. When we send you an email, Buttondown may record whether it is opened or a link in it is clicked. It also records your IP address and the referring page when you sign up or click.

Why: we have one email list. If you tick the Satscribers box, you get Satscribers, our weekly research digest, and new Satsight notes (about monthly). Lawful basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who processes it: Buttondown, LLC, our email provider. It processes your data in the United States, hosted on Amazon Web Services. Transfers from the UK are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (2021/914, Module 2) with the UK Addendum. We don't sell or share your address.

How long: we keep your address while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep it for 30 days, then delete it. If you don't confirm your subscription, or don't confirm you want to stay when we ask, we take you off the list by marking you as unsubscribed; the same 30 days then apply.

Your rights: access, correction, deletion and objection; email info@satscryption.io. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Unsubscribe: use the link in any email, or email us. Unsubscribing takes you off the whole list, Satscribers and Satsight notes alike.
